Whether you're building a new Web site, overhauling a database, or revamping your existing network, the first step in developing a solid request for proposal ( RFP) is getting a clear sense of organizational requirements.
These documents will help you frame and ask the appropriate questions within your organization to help inform the development of an RFP. By answering these questions, you will gain a clearer picture of your Web site, database, and network needs — and document your existing resources.
Once you've documented all of your organizational needs and are getting ready to submit your RFP to vendors, use the "RFP Preparation and Administration" document to help you hone in on the information you should gather from your applicants.
